Honda Civic Natural Gas won the
2012 Greenest Car of the year Award!!
With some stiff competition like the Prius V and the Ford Focus Electric, the Civic Natural Gas engine of the Honda won over the judges with its zero smog forming emissions, and sealed the win with the cleanest internal combustion vehicle certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

NEW Fuel Economy Standards to take place by 2025!
Another announcement in regards to cleaner and more efficient gas burning vehicles was made yesterday by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration regarding new standards for fuel efficiency in vehicles. By 2025, the Corporate Average Fuel Economy, or CAFÉ, standards will require an automaker’s fleet of passenger vehicles to average 54.4mpg.
There has been some controversy against these new standards from manufacturing companies too difficult or too expensive to engineer. Costs for vehicles are predicted to be raised about $2,000 but they estimate car owners will save more in the long term with the higher miles per gallon vehicles (less trips to the pump!)
